A 100,000 sq ft corporate interior for a global biotechnology organization, balancing functional workplace efficiency with an expressive, scientifically-inspired design language across multiple floors in San Francisco.
This corporate interior project was delivered for a global leader in biotechnology, with the brief requiring a workplace environment that reflects the organization's pioneering scientific culture while providing exceptional functional performance for a large and diverse workforce.
The design responds to the client's dual identity as a science-driven innovator and a consumer-facing global brand translating both dimensions into a spatial language that is simultaneously rigorous and welcoming. Collaborative zones, research-adjacent workspaces, and branded client areas were developed as distinct but connected environments within a coherent overall interior system.
Workplace strategy underpinned every spatial decision, with data-informed analysis of work patterns guiding the allocation of focus areas, collaborative zones, team neighbourhoods, and social spaces across the full floor plate.
